Charges against jussie dropped..

That guy should go away for years. That hoax could have added a big drip to the spigot Obama opened setting race relations back, back, back. It could have caused riots.

There is a big problem with our justice system.

Smollett's attorney, Mark Geragos, (who also represented the likes of Michael Jackson, Colin Kaepernick, and Scott Peterson) was yesterday named as a co-conspirator With Michael Avenatti to shake down Nike.

This world gets weirder and weirder and upsidedowner and upsidedowner every day.

The cuckoos amongst us are winning as the sane lose their voice.

It's Chicago...the most corrupt city in the most corrupt state in the union. Empire films there...you think the city, run by Democrats and headed by the dishonest POS former Obama ass-kisser, is going to risk that relationship? Chicago was once my favorite city...now it is more well known for the daily murders than for the Cubs or Bears.

when you got $$, buddies with the Obamas, are black and gay, and have some level of fame....

https://www.dailywire.com/news/45147/walsh-jussie-smollett-case-shows-what-privilege-matt-walsh

excerpts:

Kim Foxx, the state's attorney who initially recused herself from the investigation due to her association with the family, seems to have ultimately decided to step in. Text messages between Foxx and Smollett's allies shed some light into how this particular sausage was made. Smollett and Foxx's ties to the Obamas obviously played a role as well. In a word, this is corruption.

Nonetheless, liberals are celebrating this miscarriage of justice, which forever precludes them from pretending to be outraged about "wealth disparity" and "the rich." Smollett used both his wealth and stature to escape the rightful consequences of his actions. If that isn't privilege, then there is no such thing as privilege.
There are certain things that will confer privilege in America — real privilege, get-out-of-jail-free privilege. Money confers privilege, no matter your race. Fame confers privilege. Identity can certainly confer privilege, but you need to have a trendier one than straight, white, male. The correct political leanings will also translate to privilege. Smollett had every box checked. He obviously assumed that would get him off the hook. And he was right.

Indeed, the state's attorney can't articulate a coherent reason for making the decision they made. This is the best they could offer:
“After reviewing all of the facts and circumstances of the case, including Mr. Smollett’s volunteer service in the community and agreement to forfeit his bond to the City of Chicago, we believe this outcome is a just disposition and appropriate resolution to this case.” :think2:

I read the above article last Friday I believe and thought to myself, really ??? Why would this staff member get involved
now I know the why.

also you would think the $10,000 bond doesn't even cover a day of what they spent on this case.
so besides getting off on all chargers, Chicago gets to pay the bill.
