Those senders of junk mail can be just as telephone less as junk callers, I hate junk mail, I can't just throw it in the garbage, I have to cut out anything with my name/ address printed on it and put it into a Gatorade bottle reserved for this use before trashing the rest, I then dispose of the bottle at a trash can at the supermarket

I do that because I dispose of my general trash illegally by throwing it in the dumpsters right next to me at a commercial company that happens to be right close
I just make sure nothing can be traced to me, been doing that for years . It's not a whole lot maybe 2 bags a week, so it goes unnoticed . I do care about the environment so I sort out the recyclabe stuff and place it in the correct dumpster, I hardly think I'm going to go to the mythical Hell over that !

That's why I really hate junk mail, it's a PIA for me to process it for disposal

Sir, if you don't like my thoughts, nobody is forcing you to read what I write. I see a big difference between levels of junk personally, with phone calls being first, followed by physical junk mail. Junk email/ texts are much more easily ignored/ deleted and you can choose what you read.

Peace, brother !

Wait, why don't you just use your own trash? Your residence doesn't get service?

Man, that's a ton of work for something most people spend 0 time doing.

You can still read it when you do that. I haven't checked out fees for service but this method works for me, the dumpsters are like 100 meters away, it's worked for several years doing it this way, just make my visit after 5 pm or before 6 am, or anytime on Saturday or Sunday
If it ain't broke don't try to fix it
Sure, I know it's not the most honest thing in the world, but hardly a felony.

We all do some minor crimes, everybody here is guilty of something from speeding to tax evasion or much worse

I've never paid a trash service in my life, and I'm 55 now, not about to start paying now when the manufacti g company next to me has dumpsters just 100 meters away.

I typically have 2 bags of general trash a week plus the recyclabe items, I save deposit bottles/ cans for my taxi guy that takes them as tokes.

The amount of trash I generate is quite minimal, I'm not about paying an estimated $50 monthly ( as a guess) for pickup service
I'm used to it being covered by the municipality I live in, or some sort of all inclusive monthly fee to the association
My way works perfectly for me, and no entity to deal with like say Buster and his condos
. I say screw condo fees, it's almost like paying rent and you already own the damn place !

Stupid rules like you can't park a motorcycle or commercial vehicle ( company truck) in your designated spots. I don't want anybody telling me what to do and not do to that degree, unless an employer
Certainly not some homeowner's association or a wife
I'll figure out a way to to remove trash, plow the snow, mow the lawn etc. At minimal cost. Neighbor Joe plows the private road as needed, trash is done, and I can old man Pete to ride his mower over the lawn for like $15, he's already here every Saturday anyway to mow the lawn of the small factory next door plus I feel good giving this man about 81-82 years old a job, he'd die without something to do, unlike me. I never want to work another day in my life !

These silly threads have nothing to do with sports or sports betting. That is why the traffic has been down for a decade on these forum.

I don't see how junk mail is profitable to the company.

Years ago, in order to drum up business I sent out some " junk mail". I made a profit by doing it but only because my company had a postage meter so I did not have to pay for postage but still the end results were not worth the time I put into it.

We all know something is junk mail without even opening it.

But since Doug appears to have some extra time on his hands since he is piggybacking on his neighbors garbage. You could always return their self addressed envelops with about a pound of pure shit. They get it and have to pay for all of that postage. They may just take you off the list then. Haha

Nothing is “covered” by the municipality you live in. The taxpayers cover everything.

I often return their garbage when there is a prepaid envelope.
Yes to the man that said you know it's junk instantly, especially true in my case as a postal worker for 6 years. If it's sent third class mail, labeled standard mail, it's junk, they have started using first class lately, or FCM if you speak postalese, they love acronyms there

As long as you don't open the mail you can write refused on it and the post office will get rid of it.

Another scam call from a spoof number using the first 6 digits of my cell, 609-257 XXXX. Every damn day. Yesterday a call from Vallejo, Ca, another from Brigantine, NJ. Technology is on the way that all cell providers will be using that will block all spoofed numbers. The calls will not go through unless they are from the actual number. The scammers will still be in business but their actual numbers will be displayed. If you call them they won't answer but at least the providers will be able to shut them off. I'm not going to believe that the technology to do this took this long to develop. Communication companies want to sell as many lines as they can. They could care less that people are being hounded with calls. If you watched 60 minutes last Sunday you saw software from an Israeli company that can hack any iPhone. They can grab everything from it encrypted or not. I'm suppose to believe that T-Mobile can't block spoofed numbers.

I'd prefer to get rid of at the source
I keep getting this postcard from Honda about a recall on a 2007 CR-V, that I sold about 5 years ago. Something about the airbags
I've called them, recently got a mailing with a card to returning stating I no longer own the vehicle, still get the postcard once a week or so, like clockwork. I've literally received this easily 100 times.

A great car but my X-wife chews up a car real fast, drives a good 50,000 miles a year for no reason, so at about 250k miles, car is shot

No need to be downright rude and nasty dude. Most threads here on this particular forum are not directly related to sports or in particular sports book as one might expect from the title of this section. Nobody is forcing you to read my writings. I never say FU to another poster, 5 teamers will probably try to dig up an example to prove me wrong, but I try to at least treat people with some respect.
