Jeremy Pruitt has recruited well at Tennessee. According to the 247Sports Composite,
he inked the No. 21 class in FBS in 2018, then one-upped himself and signed the No. 12
class last year, despite what has been a lack of proof on the field. The Vols were really
young in 2018 but they return more of last year's production than any Power 5 team, and
I will go on record predicting this team will be much improved and surprise some folks
around the SEC this season. With returning production and recent recruiting, Tennessee
looks awfully good in both of those areas. There's an obvious parallel: Georgia was mediocre
in Kirby Smart's first year, then paired heavy returning production with great recruiting to
enjoy a major second-year breakthrough in 2017. I can see the same turnaround with the
Vols. Not saying they will win the SEC East, but I'll take the over 7 early team total.

Georgia State.....BYU.....UT Chat…..@Florida.....Georgia.....Miss St.....@Alabama.....South
Carolina.....UAB.....@Kentucky.....@Missouri.....Vanderbilt

There seems to be "sleepers" brewing in the Southeastern Conference every year but when all is said and done, the "cream always seems to rise to the top.....Alabama, especially during the past 7 to 8 years.....Those of us who cheer for the underdogs (when our team is not in the hunt) keep hoping that a "Tennessee or a Florida or an LSU or someone (Georgia) can break the grip that the Crimson Tide has on some very good football programs.

Doubtful. I am sure they can better their previous record by a couple games.

I see them losing 6-7 games

What's the Tenner homer that used to post here all the time in the offseasons? He has went MIA.
