Bleacher Report projects conference champions for the 2019 season. Some
like Clemson winning the ACC are obvious, others not so obvious, at least
not to me. Take a look.

ACC: Clemson
AAC: Cincinnati
Big 12: Oklahoma
Big 10: Ohio State
CUSA: North Texas
MAC: Western Michigan
MWC: Utah State
Pac 12: Washington
SEC: Alabama
SunBelt: App State

I saw you mention a few weeks ago (and you were surprised) how they picked Cincy over UCF for the AAC. I wonder if they picked Cincy b/c the game this year will be in Cincy on a Friday nite in October?

What the bleacher report didnt realize is that UCF will be coming off a home game vs UCONN and then will have a bye the following week and then will be home to ECU so UCF should be up for this game.

Cincy on the other hand will be coming off a game at marshall (pesky team on the road) play UCF and then will be on the road at Houston.

Cincy is coming off a great year and i honestly have no clue if they will be as good or better this season. I was just wondering if Cincy was picked to win the division SOLELY b/c of the H2H game is in Cincy (and no KZ at QB)?

Cincinnati should be good again this season if the offensive line plays well. The
offense is loaded at the skill positions and the defense (# 7 nationally 2018) has
some good players coming back. Like the offense...the defensive line needs to
develop early. After an 11-2 record last year, I'm seeing projections of eight to
ten wins this year. Like I said, much depends on how the lines develop on both
sides of the ball. Also, at a glance looks like a pretty difficult schedule.

UCLA.....@Ohio State.....Miami, Oh.....Open.....@Marshall.....UCF.....@Houston
Tulsa.....Open.....@East Carolina.....UConn.....@USF.....Temple....Memphis

If the Bearcats get by UCLA in the opener, the following Ohio State game might
be one to pay attention to...at least against the spread wise.

Bleacher Report picks Washington to win the Pac-12 Conference. I agree the Huskies
will be in the mix but personally I lean Oregon to take the title. I really like what Mario
Cristobal is doing with the program. The guy is a recruiting machine and he proved that
during his 4 years with Alabama (National Recruiting Coach of the Year 2015). The Ducks
were No. 7 in the country in the 247sports composite the last recruiting cycle. Cristobal
signed seven prospects from Southern California with 4-or-5 star ratings...more than USC.
Add a handful of elite prospects from the eastern half of the country and Oregon's class
was rated higher than those of Michigan, Ohio State, Auburn, Clemson, Notre Dame and
Florida State. The guy is relentless as a recruiter and his work ethic is unmatched and he
demands the same from his assistants (sounds like a coach in Alabama). Pac 12 coaches
better take note because the Ducks are on the rise.

My opinion and welcome yours...…………………...
