These 3 players had outstanding freshman seasons. No sophomore jinx with these studs.

Trevor Lawrence - The Clemson 5-star recruit did not disappoint leading the Tigers to the
national championship while passing for 3,280 yards and 30 touchdowns to just 4 ints.

Randall Moore - The wide receiver caught 114 passes for Purdue accounting for 1,258 yards
and 12 touchdowns. Moore finished the year with 2,215 all-purpose yards. Damn strong!

Jalen Waddle - Would have been the star receiver on most teams but Alabama ain't most
teams. The speedy Waddle pulled in 45 receptions for 848 yards and 7 touchdowns. He
also averaged 15 yards on punt returns even though teams kicked away from him.

Three sophomores to watch this season. If you have others, please list them. Welcome

James Cook at UGA. He wasn't used a lot last year. I expect him to get a lot of touches. He also is running a lot this spring in the slot/flex position.

Also Zeus is a wild card. Hope he comes into the fall healthy.

Another sophomore to watch is Texas safety Caden Sterns. Sterns was outstanding his
freshman year and was named Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year. He came in as
a 5-star recruit and really lived up to the hype. He has a chance to be really, really good.

Another is Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez who was thrown in immediately as
a true freshman. Martinez struggled early but got better as the season progressed winning
4 of Nebraska's last 6 games. He threw for 1,789 yards and 16 touchdowns to only three
interceptions. Much is expected from the QB this season.

I like Martinez out of Nebraska as I think him and Frost will have the same relationship as what Mckenzie Milton and Frost had.

Nebraska has a STUD running back who will be a sophmore. Forgot his name but he is from California. He recently got in trouble in the off season for putting up pics of his ex girlfriend on social media (or something like that). He can play though. And for Nebraska standards, that infraction is just a slap on the wrist :)
