This bet was actually -100000
A Caesars gambler placed a $20,000 wager that pays $20 that Woods will not win all four majors this year. The ‘no’ was a 1,000-1 favorite (minus 100,000).

Unless he's trying to hide some money for some reason, why would anyone tie that up for potentially half the year to get a 0.001 return on investment? Someone needs to ask him if he's getting a divorce.

If you're OK with that return just put the 20k in a 6 month CD at the bank, if needed you could even pay a reasonable fee and break the deal early and get the money back. If you could make that bet on credit then why not, it's free money.

If the book does not make the player wait till the end of the 4th
major to get paid this is a good bet .
