Obama's former White House counsel expects to be indicted in extension of Mueller's probe

Notice that the usual suspects won't be calling him a traitor or shouting treason outside the courthouse

Former White House counsel Greg Craig expects to be indicted within a matter of days, his attorneys said in a statement Wednesday.

Those expected charges stem from work he performed for Ukraine in 2012, Craig's legal team said. The attorney, who served as former President Barack Obama's White House counsel, refused to accept a plea deal.

The Wall Street Journal reported that people familiar with the situation said Craig is likely to be charged with making false statements to the Department of Justice.

Craig has been a top player in Democratic politics for many years. He joined the administration of President Bill Clinton to help with the impeachment case brought by Republicans in Congress and then later became White House counsel to President Barack Obama.

Mike Flynn was a career military man and knew better than to mislead the FBI. He even admitted in open court that he wasn’t tricked or coerced into making false statements to the FBI.

Prosecutors allege that he made false statements to Justice Department officials in 2013 and during a 2017 interview with special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s office.”

So... I find it odd that Mueller himself didnt indict him for those charges DURING the investigation, when others were being charged and indicted at the same time. Why would that be?

I remember seeing reports that he was handing off cases to various state prosecutors.

Haven’t been keeping up just saw the name Manafort as a connection.
