Well I had to work today so that why this is late today but going to play the last 2 prep races before the Kentucky Derby in 3 weeks from today.Here is what I like in the Lexington Stakes from Keeneland Race 9

Going to play a Tri wheel here

Flat bet on #2 and #7

I'm not sure what combination of the Ark wheel would have made money with those three on top. The trifecta made about $35 for a dollar. If you like, you please share your thoughts on the ROI for these types of bets...if not, that's OK too.

FYI $84 wagered for $1/$42 for 50 cent. If #3 used to win with those amounts..... $226.80/$113.40 would definitely have a positive ROI from both wagers

FYI azbob,You are correct I didnt make money on the Arkansas Derby and for ROI I dont keep track on that and I try for the kill for a longshot to get on the ticket somewhere.I like to share my thoughts on a race and I dont have a gun to anybody's head to play what I play.

Appreciate the response...I didn't play it so no worries there. Just always interested in betting strategy on these types of wagers and/or when posters list (for instance) four horses in a 9-10 horse field. Challenging (for me at least) in how to deploy $$. Just like the Master's today. If you bet on 6-8 to win, even if one comes in profit may be questionable.
