This is the exact reason why Tiger can't win a Major compared to years ago. He had a fantastic round but there are just too many good players in the field now. Even the Tiger of old would be hard pressed to beat this field. Molinari never hits a bad shot. Tony Finau treating Augusta like a pitch and putt course. Then you have Koepka lurking. I could see Tiger outplaying one of the three players but not all three.

took molinari pre tournament small. 25 pays 450. not sure how to hedge or if its even possible being so many in the race. probably let it ride. put in the bet hoping to have something to watch on sunday....at least i got that out of it.

have fowler too....should be wild with the weather being what it is.

weather will be huge. I'd imagine Molinari is hoping for the wind to pick up, as it will take out any super low scores . Augusta was mauled by these pros yesterday, 3 64s-- absurd. And a testament to how good the modern player is (with a BIG help from technology -- see Kuchar hitting soft hybrids on 5 and 15, NOT HAPPENING with a 3/4 iron). If the conditions remain benign on these softer Augusta greens than as far as -6 may still be in play; 64 gets you at -14. Going to need a lot of help tho.

over the last 10 yrs or so the least bogies after 54 holes was 5- Spieth. Molinari has one. Truly is unreal. I think he missed two shots yesterday; at 9 and 18

playing Sunday is WAY different than Moving Day. Got to settle the nerves. Dont see Finau handling it (would be happy for him tho, great story!!). Koepka is super dangerous. Expecting him to crush 13, 15 yet again. He had two great looks at eagle yesterday, hit two fuckin bombs on both those holes. Had low iron for his approach to 15 and went flag hunting. He will not get fazed.

Saturday traditionally called Moving Day as typically slightly easier layout to promote low scores for Pros "move" into position/contention
