If you beat the closing line consistently, will your winning % go up over time? It has to, right?

Obviously I'm talking over a large sample size and not over 50-100 games.

I'd like to see the numbers on this...Anyone have them?

Sure. But how do you beat it consistently? Serious I’ve thought this but it would take a lot of effort.

Good question...One way would be to have multiple outs and to hit the slower moving books on moves but even that would be tough. Either that or try and guess the line moves, which is like guessing the stock market.

It seems like if you have a "bad line" (1/2-1 pt in football/basketball) it comes back to haunt you a lot of the time.

I beat the closing line 90% of the time, yet it doesnt make me a winner

You would need multiple outs for sure and you would need eyes on them at all times and finally that 1/2 point always comes back to haunt. Always.

To make a long story short

If you follow a sport really really close, you will get a feel for it.

Its many things and different for different sports.

Now I have not done this in a while, but, say in baseball if you can figure out the available relievers in the bullpen, you will have a good idea which way totals will move

If you consistently have the team before a move in your direction.>>you will get banned, or limited amounts to wager..

This is the key indication you are a winning sports bettor, about half the advantage of a winner is getting the best line..
