I don't like banning either, and some people have said some really disparaging remarks about me, every one untrue
But I do use the ignore feature a lot, probably more than anyone else. I just can't be bothered by really stupid shit or endless pissing contests. When I grow bored with someone, or when I realize somebody NEVER brings something of value to any discussion, I just tune them out
I agree that there's nothing wrong with having different opinions, even political or racial.
It can be tricky, especially with racial & ethnic discussions in which someone states their belief.
Is it simply their opinion?
Is someone's opinion being racist or make them racist?
Does freedom of speech come into play?
But when ppl start the name-calling, trolling someone regularly, and/or using borderline racial slang or verbiage, it has to be evaluated and addressed if need be.

mod to my knowledge that ever had a problem with me and the “ infractions” are hardly some of my more intense thoughts. Haha.
