A California teacher who sued the state's teachers' association has claimed that unions are working with far-left groups to push and fund their "political agenda" on kids in public schools.

Rebecca Friedrichs, the author of "Standing up to Goliath," and educator of 28 years is now telling fellow teachers across the nation about the unions and their right to opt out of funding.

"What's shocking," Friedrichs told "Fox & Friends" Tuesday morning, "is teachers have no idea. People think teachers are these far-left people pushing this stuff. That is a lie. Most teachers are good, loving people... but we are being used by very powerful organizations - teachers unions collect about $5 billion tax-free every year from teachers - and they use that money to put their social, sexual, and political agenda into our schools."

The pro-life Christian educator said she was forced for almost three decades to fund the teachers union.

But all that changed on June 27, 2018, in a landmark 5-4 decision in Janus v. American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees scrapped a 41-year-old decision that had allowed states to require public employees to pay some fees to unions that represent them.

"Now all teachers across the country - in fact, all government employees - are now free to pay unions nothing," Friedrichs said. "We're still unionized. We're still forced to accept their representation. They're still bullying us and steamrollering us, but we don't have to pay them any longer and I hope and pray that teachers will stand together and stop paying them, and I'm hoping we can eventually get them out of our schools."

Friedrichs called the teachers unions "very deceptive" and said they "outright lie" to public school teachers.

"My whole agenda in life right now is to get out and educate teachers on the truth so that they can have liberty," Friedrichs concluded, "so they can choose for themselves what they want to do."

And despite not paying any union dues, Friedrichs still benefits from contracts negotiated by her evil union co-workers. Sick days, personal days, emergency leave, professional development, workplace conditions, class-size -- Fucking freeloading scab if you ask me.

Speaking of brainwashed puppets, you know Fox News really isn't exactly a beacon in the dark on this issue. Fox is basically the media arm of the Republican party, much how MSNBC is the media wing for Dems. What makes Fox more legitimate or accurate? Because you agree with the message?

Then there's this:

But tell me more about the scary unions and how they make life terrible for working folk

Admit It: Fox News Has Been Right All Along

Throughout most of southern Ohio, residents who watch cable news are predominantly glued to one channel: Fox News.

People there don’t watch Fox News to know what to think; they already know what they think, and they avoid news channels that insult their intelligence and core beliefs. Yes, Fox News is an echo chamber for the right, but no more than CNN and MSNBC are for the left, as far as conservatives are concerned. To be fair, when a Democrat is in the White House, the networks switch places, with Fox News criticizing every move, and MSNBC and CNN defending the Oval Office fortress.

But for now, while partisans on the left may quibble, the fact remains that on the subject of collusion with Russia by President Trump or his campaign, Fox News was right and the others were wrong. For at least two years, MSNBC and CNN devoted hour upon hour, day after day, to promoting the narrative that Trump colluded with the Russians, and that special counsel Robert S. Mueller III was going to prove it. That turned out to be wrong.

CNN RATINGS CONTINUE TO PLUMMET TO ALL-YEAR LOW
4:16 PM 04/16/2019 | MEDIA
Mike Brest | Reporter

CNN had its lowest primetime weekly ratings overall and in the key age demographic last week, according to Nielsen Media Research.

From April 8-12, the network only averaged an audience of 690,000 people and 180,000 in the key 25-54 age demographic. Their coverage last week included three presidential town halls with New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee and Former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro. (Every CNN Presidential Town Hall Finished Behind MSNBC And Fox News In Ratings)

Gillibrand’s town hall only had 507,000 viewers, compared to Inslee’s 549,000 and Castro’s 654,000.

Comparatively, last week, MSNBC’s prime time lineup averaged 1,600,000 viewers with 249,000 in the key demo. Fox News managed to beat CNN and MSNBC combined, with a total viewership of 2,438,000 and 394,000 in the age range.

The top networks for primetime viewership last week were led by Fox News, followed by MSNBC, the Home and Garden TV, USA Network and TBS Network to round out the top five.

CNN finished 15th, behind networks like Discovery Channel, Food Network, TLC and A&E Network. Their ratings have continued to drop following the conclusion of the Mueller report. It appears like they might have a difficult time bouncing back after investing two years of heavy coverage on the investigation into the Trump campaign’s alleged collusion with the Kremlin.
