Best player in the NBA right now?

I can't say it's Lebron James right now.

I hate Keven Durant but it has to be him right?

1.Kevin Durant

2. Lebron James

3.Giannis Antetokounmpo

4. Step Curry

5. James Harden

6. Anthony Davis

7. Kawhi Leonard

Yeah I know I put Leonard kind of low. Maybe he should be a little higher up.

What would you make the list at?

Anybody still have Lebron James at number 1? I truly believe the king has been dethroned it's just a matter of who dethroned him. Has to be Kevin Durant and Giannis seems to be making a case. He can solidify that case this post season.

Of course Lebron might come back next season with a vengeance but I believe mentally and emotionally he doesn't have the hunger anymore. Who would maintain that kind of intensity after all these season and all the piles of cash? I think he has other things on his mind. Ambitions of owning a team and stuff. Physically I know he's declining. It takes him so much longer to get warmed up and get going. The lift isn't there as much and his defense is getting so bad.

I really want to put Damian Lillard up there somewhere maybe even ahead of James Harden or tied. That guy is insanely talented and clutch. I think many NBA fans just don't watch him play as often as the others and he's just sick. It's uncanny what he does at his size.

If you replayed the 2018-2019 season with all available info right now about how guys are playing/played this year then Giannis or Durant would go #1. Probably Curry/Harden right after.

Giannis has higher overall value but Durant probably still better in the high leverage situations.

Perhaps next few months with provide a little more clarity.

Giannis is like KG with guard skills. If your GM is competent you can build some pretty crazy lineups around him that is gonna make it really hard for teams to matchup.

He can guard an elite wing player or you can just put him at center and make the other team matchup.

There really hasn't been anyone like him yet.

If he could shoot, there probably wouldn't be a reason to watch the games, lol. It would be like if Andrew Luck had an offensive line, kinda.

Giannis is shooting a lot better this season. He's really taken a huge step forward. He's always been a monster at the rim but now he can shoot and he's scary good.

Ben Simmons? I never liked his game and he's one of the most overrated players. He can't shoot, not even free throws. His overall game isn't even that good. He's not even in the discussion.
