we'll have to match these up to the teams losing majority, or all, of their defensive line starters. the absolute best way to win early in the season is on teams returning QB + OL vs teams losing DL

Auburn
Ball St
Boise St
Hawaii
Iowa St
Michigan St
Oregon
Southern Miss
Texas St
UL-Lafayette
UL-Monroe

One thing about Michigan St. Last years Senior LG David Beetle graduated. He played in six games last year. MSU was plagued by injuries and had quite a few "starters".

Here is quote from Mlive;
Michigan State’s offense last year posted the worst numbers during Dantonio’s first 12 years leading the program, including 124.8 rushing yards per game, which ranked 114th in the nation. The offensive line was unable to generate a consistent push and the group constantly changed due to injuries. The Spartans used a different starting combination on the line each of the first six games and nine times total last year.Right tackle Jordan Reid was the only offensive lineman to start every game at the same position last season while Tyler Higby also started all 13 – the first two at center, the next three at left tackle and the final eight at left guard.

Barring a ton of injuries again they should be better. But to say the entire o-line returns intact, not exactly. They were a mess LY.

Looking at the list one team caught my eye because they have been God awful for awhile, especially
the past 3 years under Everett Withers. I'm referring to Texas State who have won only 7 games the
past 3 seasons. Withers is out and new coach Jake Spavital replaces him. The Bobcats started ten
different offensive linemen last year and all are back. The problem is the unit was a disaster because
of injuries and shuffling. Under Withers, the offense ranked 121st, 127th and 126th nationally and it's
hard to see much improvement this year with the same players. For wins, TS will hang its hat on a very
experienced defense that returns almost everybody. If the D improves some over 2018, TS might just
get to 4, 5 or 6 wins with an upset or two. The schedule is not all that difficult.

I will be looking to play Texas State against the Aggies in week one. The Bobcats' D should be good enough to slow down a team that will be thinking about week two. A 38-13 loss will cover the number. My wife went to Texas State, but talking her into going down there for the game will be a real tough sell.

The problem at Texas State is the lack of administration support for the football program. I've heard it's pitiful.
Beautiful school in an area for good high school players. Sad to see the lack of support.
