A little nice rally late last night. Thoughts for today. One play on each game
Detroit (1Q) +4.5 -115 ($230/$200)
The Bucks are rolling right now and think they will gradually run away from the Pistons later in this game. But I think Detroit will show a little bit of fight in the early going and maybe keep it an even ball game through the half. I think the point spread and totals are too 50/50 for me in this particular game, and looks like betting on a quarter or half is the better way to go here. Take the home team in the first quarter to throw everything they have, before they probably lose it later.
Utah ml +140 ($300/$420)
After a heartbreaking defeat, it's easy to see the Jazz just throw in the towel on this one. But I think they are simply too good of a team to get swept, regardless of how well Houston seems to be playing right now. It's unlikely Harden will start 0-for-15 again, but I think the shooters for Utah have to wake up at some point. I think they play really well tonight and beat the Rockets semi-comfortably, before probably losing the series back in Texas in Game 5. Worth the money line shot here.
