By Tradition April 20 is “weed day” and for the consumers of marijuana it is almost an obligation to celebrate this day, smoking of course! But this year, an event was announced on social media that called the attention of many, even though, it also took place last year in 2018.
LaCopaCR (Costa Rica Cannabis Cup) is the name of the activity that was being advertised through different social media channels, banners and video posts gave details on the prices of tickets, which ranged from $25.00 for general access to $100.00 for a VIP experience which included merchandise and coupons.
“Hi everyone, as in all events of this type, the detailed information is handled discretely and only through trustworthy people. The event is in April, the tickets are being sold by participants only. This year LaCopaCR will host guests from other countries, we have opened the international category with the purpose of expanding frontiers and to receive tourism in addition to sharing knowledge with other people who love this plant”, reads a post on Facebook by El Grow.
The event is scheduled for the last weekend of April and there are already over 600 people confirmed.
The advertising in social media announces there will be “surprises by sponsors” , tastings, workshops on the production of this plant for self-consumption, food, beverages, crafts, live music, legal information, stand up comedy, areas of socialization and more.
