nah, nah, the janitor's name was Bookman and there was an elderly lady who lived in the apartments (believe it was Cabrini Green) who they thought was eating dog food. Ir was a one episode deal, she was never on again.

Actually if I recall the episode was about the meatloaf and they didn't want to eat it because of the secret ingredient. Gertie was her name.

Pretty good memory. If I recall they were afraid to eat it because they thought it was Alpo but it was really meatloaf but will have to check that.

I know that show and What's Happening because the rerun's (no pun intended) came on every afternoon after Gilligan's Island

I think Dee went on to be a veterinarian in real life. I loved that show, don't really know why. It was a spinoff from the movie Cooley High
