Found this on twitter ...

Rested vs not rested since 2003 .. teams with 5 or more days of rest (Portland) against a team with 1 day (Denver)
The rested team is 21-7 SU & 20-7-1 ATS (74.1%) .. it looks 13 of those were road teams

Houston would have qualified for this yesterday? They covered! Was Hou on 5 days rest or more??

From memory the rested team usually seems better prepared for game 1 vs a team coming off a tough series on short rest. It seems to tkae them a game to get adjusted to their new opponent.
