well for a start he keeps babbling that "tariffs are good", when in actual fact tariffs are a tax by the US on it's own citizens, oh and...there's also this:

Economists have almost uniformly rejected the president’s arguments that tariffs are good for the United States, saying that these taxes reduce economic activity by raising prices for consumers. While the administration has channeled funds to help farmers hurt by the trade war in the past, economists say this process is less efficient than merely opening foreign markets to trade.

Tariffs are NOT the President's preferred position for world trade. They are a necessary fulcrum to realign trade agreements back to the place where they are fair to America.

Trump is a counterpuncher.....If he is slapping tariffs on China or any other country it is because we have tariffs slapped on us & this has been going on for years draining us....

It was approximately a year ago that Trump issued tariffs on China. Every liberal economist
declared the end of our world as we know it. So what happened? The price of goods didn't go up,
inflation is nowhere to be seen, we have more jobs than qualified people to fill them, the
economy is firing on all cylinders and you're still an ass.
