That would be the earliest the Nugget has ever posted lines! Used to be end of June they'd post them. Now the Southpoint has been posting late May so I guess the Nugget is going earlier too.

In March, online sportsbook BetOnline.AG unveiled initial point spreads for its 2019 college football "Games of the Year." Earlier today, the sportsbook updated those odds and added some extra games as we get closer to the start of college football season.

In total, 17 of the 45 games initially posted had line changes of at least one point, including six different games involving area schools. All line movements in games featuring Texas and Texas A&M were in the Longhorns' and Aggies' favor. All line movements in games involving Oklahoma were in favor of the Sooners' opponents. Local games with notable changes are in bold below.

I guess we all expected that to come down, but 15 is too low, and I will be all over the Tigers at that number.

This game has a 330 EST starting time in Orlando. Its going to be HOT AS BALLS (see how PITT did at UCF last year when they went to orlando last september).

If you like the home team, take the points now

I'll preface my comments by saying that I live in Orlando and am very familiar with this UCF program.

I SOMEWHAT agree with the play on UCF, but I disagree with some of your reasoning. Saying that UCF has "1 of the top home field advantages in all of football" is misleading. That stadium is cute and it's nice that UCF has an on campus stadium.....but that is not a hard place to play. Stanford isn't going to be intimidated or affected by anything the UCF crowd brings. Additionally, this may be the only sure win that Stanford has during their first four weeks. If you're looking for a better opportunity, look at week four against Oregon AFTER Stanford has done two weeks of traveling.

The "hot as balls" reasoning is actually the best variable in this "bet on UCF" equation because it is true. Orlando is going to be damn hot in September and Stanford is not going to be acclimated or prepared for that kind of heat.

However, UCF does not have the team that they've had in the past two years. Milton was the catalyst for everything that UCF did on offense and he may won't play this year, if ever again. But, the main reason to be leery of UCF is their defense. The UCF defense is absolutely atrocious! They suck beyond sucking and they are going to be worse this year. They certainly have no answer for a ground & pound offense like Stanford's because UCF doesn't have a sizable defensive line AND they don't have the depth either.

It will be interesting, but not worth wagering on this game.....especially with a better opportunity against Stanford in week 4.

Very good points

The "Hot as balls" will be the best factor. I was just in Orlando last weekend and was thinking how brutal it was and imagine playing football in that weather. Many teams start gasping in the 2nd half vs UCF due to the heat and their FAST offense.

Their stadium is a great home field advantage but agreed, Stanford wont be intimated. However, UCF will be more "charged up" (no pun intended).

Stanford has 2 tough games before the UCF game and has Oregon on deck. UCF has a cake 1aa school in week 1 and has FAU in week 2 (FAU is somewhat of a rivalry but i see more than 50% UCF fans at that game). What i'm saying is that UCF can prepare for that Stanford game during training camp while Stanford wont.

On another note, i wonder if the Stanford game vs Oregon will be an advantage to Stanford as Stanford plays a "high impact offense" 2 weeks in a row.

Just my .02

That is definitely a tough sandwich spot for Stanford. And UCF no longer has a long winning streak that Stanford can take bride in ending. Should be a good game to watch.
