I wrote this up earlier this morning...one of us will be happy!! BOL
I really like both these pitchers...Eickhoff has been lights-out this year, 1.50 ERA 31:11. But let's look at who he's shut down...the Mets, Nats & Marlins, then beat a slumping Cards. He gave up 4ER against a good hitting squad @ Colo. Same story with Woodruff...His .era is much higher but his last 3 games, 16 innings 3 ER 22:3, damn good...but it was against the Mets twice and the Nats. Nola got shelled early yesterday (pitched 3.0) so the Phillies used 6 relief pitchers last night, they also lost Robertson to IL. Brewers Peralta left after 4.0 and the brewers used 5 relief pitchers.
I think Vegas deflated the total simply because of the recent numbers, obviously and that's what they do. Now both pitchers get to face a good offense. It's already a short porch to right field, and if the wind holds at 12mph, it's gonna help the lefties in the line up.
