Just saw your post KOW. Unfortunately, I had already played the Pirates. I watched Archer pitch a lot of years for the Rays and he showed promise but has not ever put it all together. He has been in decline since 2016. I thought a change of scenery to the National League would help him. It simply is not happening with his ERA going up, even though the better pitchers league, his WHIP is in the decline, and his walk/strikeout ratio has declined, as have other important stats. I do not know if he is not being coached well, is uncoachable, or simply not that good. A once #1 starter he is no more than a #3 or #4 now in my opinion. I got sucked in by the line today but I am done with him. When he is favored, and he will be, I will be looking to fade.
