By the numbers in isolation (eschewing matchup data) the Bucks are still the better team. However, they’ve now dropped three straight games by finding ways to lose; and if they blink today, the Raptors could steal this series. The Raptors, playing with less overall talent, have nevertheless shown a will to win, indicative of better coaching. Also, Milwaukee’s bench has dramatically disappeared; and, as Toronto’s bench tends to play a lot better at home, coupled with the fact that the matchup data (which has built up solidly in the Raptors’ favor during this series), now slightly favors Toronto, the model’s numbers support a narrow home win today. Player trend data, indicates a bounce in Milwaukee’s scoring is overdue, which hints at higher than average scores; so, although I’ll bet late today, I’m leaning Bucks + whatever and the Over.

A Raptors win would make the first International Finals in NBA history.
