I remember now. After moving to downtown Chicago after I graduated college I used to stop by the "Koufax and Stengel" Bagel & Knish Shop on Wells Street. Fine Eats.

They may have parlayed that into a Law Firm.

Have Family there still, and a Woman when I get to see her. Chi-Town Summers are Awesome....the Lake, Wrigley, Fireworks, Food, Blues. I do miss it.

Spend time between Vegas, Atlanta, Cleveland, and Orlando. I have become a nomad since my wife passed.

Gotcha!! A lucky Woman indeed!!! Ya man, everything you said about Chitown summers....so true. As you may or may not know, i'm a die hard White Sox fan (very few in this city, lol), but i still enjoy Wrigley w/ my friends who are all die hard Cubs fans.

I am sorry to hear about your wife. Nothing wrong w/ traveling all around. One of my passions is to travel all over the world. Next on the bucket list for me is Thailand!

Thanks, Vark. I miss my wife Dearly, which has affected my current relationships.

Grew Up in Chicago Suburbs. One Uncle was a Cubbies Fan (Staunch Republican) the other a White Stocking fan (Staunch Democrat). I grew up going to both Fields/Parks listening to why one team was better than the next, and then there were their politics. I thank both of them. More of a Cub Fan but root for both. I know that is blasphemy, but I was a kid and did not understand the hatred.

My Best Friends Dad took us to the 1983 All-Star game at the Old Comiskey. The AL won 13-3. Fred Lynn, I believe was the MVP. Had a fricken blast. He even got us beers despite being several years under the drinking age.

Not many better cities than being in Chi-Town for the Summer. Enjoy The Summer of 2019.

Just looked, maybe I will visit. Good times

Damn, I remembered a big Inning, but in the 3rd, 7 runs by the AL. Atlee Hammaker got lit up like a Christmas Tree... Bosox teammates Jim Rice (Solo HR) and Fred Lynn (Grand Slam) feasted on Ham.

Trip down, Memory Lane.
