I am looking for some intel on the line move for game one of the NBA finals.

First of all, I was shocked that GSW only opened as 1-point favorite. Kawhi is clearly not 100% and Iguodala and/or Draymond should be able to make his life tough. More importantly, if GSW pushes the pace, I don't think Toronto can run with them. I would be surprised if the series goes more than five games.

Anyway, the line opened at GSW-1 and has already moved to Toronto-1, meaning that the "sharps" must be on Toronto (since GSW is clearly the more public team). I understand that the advanced stats say that Toronto is underrated, but the I think the matchups favor GSW and Kawhi is playing hurt. I also like GSW's -- including Kerr's -- experience.

Anyway, I'm just looking for intelligent discussion about the series and this line move. Thoughts/insights would be appreciated. Thank you.

the coefficients are almost equal so it’s impossible to consider Toronto undervalued.

While not entirely the same due to the vast experience factor of Golden State in the Finals, take a look at the similarities of the 2011 Finals between Dallas and Miami, which the Mavs won. I do not have time right now to post the similarities.

There are similarities between the 2011 Mavs
and the 2019 raptors. The only similarity between the Heat and the warriors are that both are favorites to win the finals. The 2 games the raptors/warriors played this year has injuries on both sides.
