Won both games Saturday and I hit on First 5 inning Perronal play on Miami so a good day.

Really only 1 game I considered today in MLB.

MLB

Nationals at Reds 1:10 pm
Scherzer vs Gray

Pick Options
WASH -125/Lean
Or
WASH ov 2/-120 First 5/Very Small

Bullpen is always a concern with Washington. The Nats have handled the Reds though and Scherzer has been very good vs Cincinnati as well.

Scherzer is 4-1, 2.35 ERA in his last 5 vs CIN. He has 2.21 career ERA vs CIN and has not allowed a run in 2 career starts at GABP.

Nats 9-1 last 10 at CIN
Nats 17-4 last 21 meetings
Nats 6-2 last 8 games

I don’t put a lot of credence in how MLB teams perform on certain days of the week but I took note that the Reds are 37-77 in their last 114 Sunday games.

Gray has been good, better than last season. He has been respectable against WASH but still has allowed 3 or more runs in 3 of 4 starts against them. Nationals batters are hitting .330 vs Gray. Gray has an ERA just over 4 at home, something that has plagued him the last couple of seasons. He had an ERA of nearly 7 in home starts last season while his road ERA was just over 3.

I liked the over 2/First 5 pick last night when I did my first look. I have talked myself down a bit on it after going back over some things. It is close. Wind blowing out at 10 mph and some success by WASH hitters vs Gray is keeping me on this but I have downgraded the pick to our smallest type of wager. If the Nats win the game, we still profit regardless.
