I'm a poor farm boy with an education... the Virginia Beach incident has touched me in more ways than one. (Lost my dad to a tragedy)

First-- A Tatoo company has offered free VB strong tatoos.
2nd- a local beer company is offering free beer (it's a craft beer) to again the VB strong involved people..

This is not meant to be an argument.... But do you feel the profit motif is fair game even in tragedies? All are ads on tv.

Is that capitalism? Or is that community service and bond building?

Not much profit in "free".

Aren't the tattoos and beer being offered for free? There's no profit.

By the way, DPB, not sure how exactly you lost your dad, but tragedy sounds to imply suddenly. That sucks. Sorry to hear that.
