That is absolutely true. Why do you think mayors designate their cities as sanctuary cities? Because illegals just pay exorbitant rents and either don't know any better or are afraid to make a stink. Plus unlike other poor groups, illegals are not sophisticated enough to cause trouble for landlords. Often the landlords get paid in cash that's earned under the table. The landlord class loves illegals. The landlord class donates large sums to mayors.
So do all manner of retail stores love illegal spending.
