Don't post games as i leave that to the many respected handicappers here. However, I would like to make an observation about Lucas Giolito. I've watched almost all of his starts this year and he is an ascending star. As i handicapped tonight's game between the Yankees and the White Sox my initial numbers have the White Sox as a 1.20 to 1.25 favorite. Sometimes, I forget the public's perception of the Yankees ... often over valued. Six out of seven of Giolito's last starts have been seven innings plus quality starts. In only one of those games did he give up more than two earned runs. The highlight being four starts ago in a complete game shutout versus the Houston Astros. Sabbathia, is on his farewell tour and not pitching horribly. However, he rarely goes more than five innings. When handicapping I always try to assess what might be a regression factor for any pitcher having a breakout year. Although, that is a possibility for Giolito, I think the fact that it's the Yankees tonight and not Baltimore will keep him focused. Getting him at plus money seems like very good value to me. He has already pitched against them this year, and won, so I don't think he will be intimidated. Just my two cents worth ... probably overvalued.
