The cities — including Green Bay, Wisconsin; Erie, Pennsylvania; Lebanon, Ohio; and Mesa, Arizona — have submitted invoices totaling $841,219 to the Trump campaign. Those 10 invoices have not been paid, even though five of them date back to his 2016 campaign.

The cities say the Trump campaign must pay the bills but in many cases, there were no signed contracts between his campaign and the city governments. Still, the cities believe he should reimburse them for the police protection needed to secure his events because the Secret Service explicitly asked for it.

Also from the article:

El Paso Mayor Dee Margo told CPI he remains “hopeful" the Trump campaign will pay.

“I’m hopeful they’ll do what’s right. People that don’t pay their bills — that’s a character integrity issue,” Margo said.

I agree. Don the con strikes again.

Just another nothingburger from the Trump obsessed shitheels at Salon created specifically for the TDS suffering snowflakes to get their daily hard on over. If the SS requested it, the SS gets the bill. If these cities tried to sue the Trump campaign to get their invoices paid, the judge would be :pointer:. The cities know that, so they take their case to the TDS sufferers while the rest of us :pointer: at them.

Hence, he's a spoonfed fucking idiot.

He's the target of their lies, and he takes the bait every time. Then he tells us he's smart, despite being wrong about everything

You just can't make this shit up, nobody would believe you

He doesn't know his sources are literally laughing at him

George Stephanopoulos, the man that literally colluded with CNN and scammed the country in 1992

Think about that

President Barack Obama’s campaign committee did not always pay municipal police bills when local governments wanted, and in at least one reported case, ignored a large bill, arguing that it wasn’t responsible for the costs. Obama’s campaign committee officially shut down in July 2018 without reporting any remaining debt. Federal records do indicate that Obama’s campaign paid some local government entities — from the City of Hollywood, Florida, to the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police — for “security” costs over the years.

Secret Service won't pay Newport Beach for police at Obama event

Can you bump the post where you complained about Obama not paying?

Thanks!

I wasn't active in the political forum back then -- didn't realize it existed.

I skimmed the publicIntegrity link you sent. Interesting stuff and according to the article the no pay / late pay situation happens often. Though eventually they all pay up.

The point I was trying to make is this is more evidence of a certain pattern of behavior. Here you have a man who never misses an opportunity to praise law-enforcement for the soundbyte or photo op. A man who brags about his wealth, how he doesn't need the money, etc. A man who has a long history of stiffing workers.

I find it disgraceful and insulting to our law enforcement community that Trump expects them to work for free.

Stop trying to reason with a brick wall, and lower your expectations 100 fold.

Expect nothing except extreme ignorance, just point and laugh and give thanks for everything you're not
