But it saddens me that when you compare the 18-25 year olds of the 1940's to the same age group today...

I honestly think the kids today are the same as they were back then it's just with social media and the 24-hour news cycle being as it is, we read a lot of negative stories and they drown out the good our youngsters are doing.

I honestly believe if a WWII broke out today the best of the best would once again step up and storm the beaches.
