Not used much anymore but if a pitcher threw at your head, then it was a bean ball. If he hit you, then he beaned you — even if he didn't hit you on the head. It's not beam, like a laser beam

Must have come from Dominican Republic? So, did she die from the line drive that went from the stadium through the hospital window or the tainted Jim Beam from the Dominican Republic? I'm confused.

Come on SAL!! She was hit by the ball in the Dominican Republic but the Jim Beam on the flight home got her...
