I've been at Heritage for many years and some of my deposits have been bitcoin, others credit card. I pulled a couple grand out in January and they sent a cashier's check, by courier, written off an international account. No issues, all set....

So on Monday I process a request for 3k by cashier check and the transaction gets canceled. I get the following note:

[FONT=&quot]Please resubmit your request selecting the Bitcoin payment option. Since this is your preferred deposit method, it is your preferred payout method as well. Checks are not available at the moment. Thank you.

First off, I don't have a "preferred deposit method". I haven't deposited in a long time and I've had as many, or more, CC deposits as BTC ones in my history there.
Secondly, nowhere in their rules does it say that customers who have deposited via BTC in the past can now ONLY withdraw via BTC. In fact, the rule is that you can only withdraw BTC if you've previously deposited BTC.
And, finally, I just got a cashier check a few months back and according to their rules you can get a free check one Monday per month.

That's weak. you would think they would give you either option.

I will say this however, they talked to me in the past about being BTC only because their CC processor fees on their end were too high. (seems like the opposite of your situation in a way)

Doesn't make sense that you can ONLY get bitcoin, if you want a check instead.

Did you talk with a manager there? They were helpful in the past with me about any issues.

Just curious why you would prefer an international check versus Bitcoin? Bitcoin is so fast. However, I also play at heritage and I think they should pay you at your convenience. Most important tho is did you get paid yet?

Don't they realize they have to become more user friendly to compete nowadays? Are they all run by a bunch of buffoons? Are they trying to chase away business

Every change I've observed over the past 12 years or so has been a change for the worse. (with the possible exception of bitcoin for those who use bitcoin)

Seems to me one good manager should be able to put everyone else out of business

Your only payout option is Bitcoin.

I just talked to Pablo (or maybe it was Paulo) and he said while it is true that they do not have a policy mandating bitcoin payouts that "this was a management decision"

I've now been on hold for 4 minutes waiting for a supervisor....

Gabe the Supervisor:

"we have the right to apply any policy regarding withdrawals that we feel like and our policy is now that anyone who's done a bitcoin deposit can only get a bitcoin withdrawal"

...so I explained i have also done CC deposits, he agreed, and said he doesn't care. I asked him to publish this new "rule" so that customers know what type of shop they're now dealing with and he said they refuse to state this on the website and it's a new management decision. I asked if this was specifically being applied to my individual account and he said it was not...this is their new company rule for all customers. = no check ever again if you've ever used bitcoin to deposit or withdraw from Heritage

"if you don't like it you have the right to leave"

...I asked him if he minds that I will be explaining our conversation on public betting sites and he said

"again, if you don't agree with this than you can go to another sportsbook. I don't care if you post to a forum because we deal directly with them anyway. we've been in business 25 years"

...i said, if you are going to change options on how I can access my money that don't follow your written rules how long do you think you'll survive in this new betting world? and he pretty much just reiterated that

"we can decide what our policies are and not publish them. your only option is bitcoin. if you want all your money out, we can take care of this for you today. we've been around 25 years and never not paid anyone"

aka...FUCK HERITAGE!

Have you called & spoken to someone?
a couple times. i just posted my conversation with a supervisor, gabe

simple as this...i was doing a withdraw completely within their rules. at some point this year they said they changed the rules and confirmed they WILL NOT publish them.

i just logged into my account and clicked on payouts...cashier's check is not even an option now, only bitcoin. creepy

I wonder if they are "cash poor" so its just easier to pay with bitcoin?
exactly what i was thinking...that they have run out of cash and are now just shuffling around customer bitcoin

when someone tells you repeatedly how long they've been in business, which i never asked, to justify their decisions that should tell you they might not be in business much longer

Sounds weird to say (and i know u will hate this) but check back in 2-3 more months. Football season is starting and people are going to "fund their accounts". This is a slow time of year in the gambling world.

Although, now that gambling is legal in certain states, I wonder how much revenue will be down for offshore bookds

probably some truth to this as i guess june/july are throw-away months in the business anyway.

This is not good news. I was cold called by them asking for a post up at the first of the week and I obliged. They have the best baseball odds and -105 juice on sports. They remind me of 5dimes as they can be very rude. I’ve never had a problem getting paid. Keep us posted if they pay you please. Also why would you want an international check instead of bitcoin? Just curious

They're obviously all run by assholes, classic case of how NOT TO TALK TO AND TREAT CUSTOMERS

What planet are they from?

You mean they can be out of cash but still have bitcoin?

I would have though bitcoin was converted to cash

25 years and a top notch shop changes policy and refuses to publish it on their website. Now cold calling, going down hill IMO. Seems like they don't want your business. Must be getting hit hard in baseball.
