Chris Walsh, the first player to reach the illustrious “Club 40” in Beat the Streak presented by MGM Resorts in 2019, is now up to 44.
Walsh, a 35-year-old electrician who resides in Calgary, Alberta, and plays BTS with the username “farmer05,” selected Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado against the Dodgers on Friday. Arenado settled things early, knocking a two-run, 423-foot homer off Dodgers ace Hyun-Jin Ryu in the first inning.
