I've experimented a lot with various indoor TV antennas, they all have limitations and quirks.
All of them claim unrealistic ranges. I live in a 1948 house built with cinder blocks on the exterior walls, good luck pulling a signal through a wall like that, you have to put the antenna in a window for starters...more later

The first thing to do is Google something like
TV broadcast tower locater to determine how far and in what direction the towers are from where you live and how clean of a line of sight you have, things like tall buildings, mountains, trees ,etc. Are bad, of course.
All kinds of factors come into play trying to pull in a signal with an indoor antenna wether amplified or not . Wether is a big factor, it works better on cloudy days, rain and wind are bad.
Be prepared to rescan channels frequently !
This stuff is very touchy, you might move the antenna 2 inches on your window, rescan and get the channel you want, it might fade out an hour later !
I swear every little thing seems to affect it, stuff like phase of the moon, high or low tide, temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, etc.
You should get a few good channels reliably, hit or miss on many good channels
You will reliably receive garbage shopping and Spanish channels, and preacher channels for certain, probably 20 or more of those
