New Jersy tops Nevada in monthly bets

For the first time ever more money was bet at New Jersey sportsbooks than
in Las Vegas. In May, New Jersey beat Vegas. NJ has quickly separated itself
from the newcomers taking in more than $3 billion in its first year operation.

I wonder how much New York bettors had to do with this?

I have a feeling that when New York is running full speed (if and when that happens)..NJ won't beat Nevada again.

Im not an expert in knowing anything about New Jersey, but are they inflating numbers?

Just seems hard for me to believe they've taken in more than Vegas.

I would think there is more money in NJ/NY area than in LV

yeah - has to be lots of NYers crossing the line over to Jersey --
not sure why NY has not legalized this stuff yet - -
alot of money to be made - -as Jersey is showing
