All these people and it rained on and off during all the festivities including the parade, which according to the MSM was going to be a N. Korea, Russia type military display of tanks and missiles and might. NOT. The parade wound on for hours. The parade route was ten deep with people all along the way. And the parade was an assemblage of all types of people who were proud to be Americans. A few of the groups that I saw - Seikhs for America; Vietnamese Americans; a black marching band; clowns on bikes; cowboys on horses. Hundreds of groups were represented. Many had nothing to do with the military.
There were also many performances by entertainers in another section of Washington.
And the fireworks were spectacular.
And in Trump's speech he honored great Americans, present and past, military and non military. And, yes, lauded our military present and past with little stories from each branch of the military.
If you love America you had to love those festivities.
If you hate America and everything that made us great, well..... you suck.
