Looking at a prop bet here in the offseason, and thinking of playing a couple teams in the same and trying to make a profit off it.The bet is Russell Westbrook's 2019-2020 team at beginning of season. I'm thinking of playing both of the following

$3000 on Miami Heat at -150
$1000 on Detroit Pistons at +500

Best case scenario is I get 2-grand if he lands in Detroit. Seems like they are the only ones really in the conversation aside from Heat. From what Ive gathered it seems like it's between these two teams. It seems inevitable he's leaving OKC after the Paul Geore trade. Orlando is reportedly not interested. The Knicks after their bad free agency misses seem possible, but ive heard they'd only make the move after the season. To me it only looks like Miami and Detroit unless a team like Minnesota comes in and tries to get rid of Wiggins. Should I just bet one and take the risk? I feel like its close between these twos. Obviously Miami has a price where there is enough smoke to be a fire, but their cap situation is kinda fucked and theyd need a third team to provide relief. Detroit seems like a logical destination for a team that may try to vault into contention in a wide open east. Seems like they wanna compete sooner than later after getting Blake. Thoughts?

The Cavs would be an interesting landing spot, they're low on talent but sending Colin Sexton, 3 or 4 expiring contracts, plus a couple 1st round draft picks would make them a playoff team in the East. Kevin Love, Westbrook, Darius Garland would be an interesting core, if they could somehow add Steven Adams as well I'd think that's potentially a top 3-4 team in the East.

I saw this scenario for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

CLE receives: PG Russell Westbrook, PG Dennis Schroder, C Steven Adams
OKC receives: PG Jordan Clarkson, PG Brandon Knight, PG Collin Sexton, SG J.R. Smith, C Tristan Thompson, C John Henson, 2022 CLE first-round pick, 2022 MIL first-round pick

That would be an enticing offer. The Cavs provide more salary cap relief than any team. Problem is Cavs have been adamant they are in full rebuild but this move would make them a playoff team easily. Thats really the only team I fear. The others would likely be trade deadline moves.

No way in hell would I be betting serious money based on media reports. I mean they have been way off already with KD and Kawhi

Every Spurs fans knew it was a lock that he was going to the Clippers - the guy truely a nice guy - but for some reason he is puppeted by his uncle - Toronto admitting today they realistically had no chance of resigning him and they knew it all along

Is that overrated Florida coach preaching fake values still coaching OKC?

What was his reason for going to OKC? Was it simply cash? He was one of the best college coaches... and then couldn't win shit in the NBA. Maybe have him coach the Lakers with LeBron and 4 other all-stars.... and BINGO! he's an instant great NBA coach like Rivers.

So Rivers got Leonard? Was that finalized? Shit, man, Rivers is such a joke of a coach. But load him up with the best players.... and he's right back in the mix.

Steve Kerr? :):) Great NBA coach? Ha ha.

Need I say more?

So tired of seeing Phil "Loaded Deck" Jackson in interviews and all that shit. Guy had Jordan and then Kobe/Shaq... LMFAO.

"That's my governor!!!" :):)

What SJW shit will they come up with next? NBA players blowing gay fans in-between quarters to show their support for the rainbow flag?
