Sweden is set to become a ‘cashless society’ by 2023. Would you like to see the U.S. follow suit ?

I never want to see it happen, but it will definitely happen after a huge economic collapse around the world or a possible world war, its inevitable. People behind the scenes want to control everyone, & the only way to do it is by going cashless.

We may see China slowly becoming cashless......they basically can already control their citizens with their social credit score system.....cashless would be one step closer to controlling people to the fullest.

I use cash for everything except the monthly bills. Have one credit card for emergencies only.

I want as few people tracking me as possible. And no I have nothing to hide.

I'm actually the opposite and never have cash.

It's frustrating at times though because I occasionally run into small businesses that only take cash

these Swede freaks are getting implants in their hands to serve as their bank account, gym card, library membership, etc without the least bit of concern that the technology is so new it is wide open to hackers. how can you put everything on a single chip in your hand and think it doesn't drastically increase the hackers stealing your money and identity? more than half the people in the world with chip implants live in Sweden...if I'm a hacker, I know where I'd be residing today....

US, won't become entirely cashless within say 20-40 years, perhaps coinlees other than quarters , and dollar coins once the paper dollar is Eliminated

Stuff like illegal drug sales of heroin and such are done in cash, as are many things, it won't go away by eliminating cash

We should only have 2 coins

The quarter , and the small sized dollar

Paper money should be $5 and up, and go larger than $100

Just 2 coins, quarters and dollars, force dollar coins into usage by eliminating paper dollars

Canada has been doing similar for a long time

They have no pennies, one and two dollar coins, $5 and up paper

Just the quarter and dollar coin would work !

Most things are done electronically anyway, just swipe a whatever card...you likely get a bonus/reward of some kind for doing so anyway !

At a minimum stop mintng pennies !

Lincoln was born in 1809

Placed on the cent in 1909

Long before 2009, I thought the government would let it go until 2009, call it a nice 100 year run and retire the useless denmonination, I never thought it would still exist 10 years later !

The speed of government is slothlike, and often given no thought.

Historical examples of gov't stupid and political agendas abound
