Think they have an uninhabited island with great beaches, wild horses and the most seashells I've ever seen. Cool place to go, but you need a boat or at least a boat ride

Shackleford Banks is the island, a very short boat ride from Beaufort

I think Beaufort was a pretty cool little town too. I went there in April maybe 8 years ago or so
