Seattle bats have been cold since ASB .178 BA and a .248 OPS!! yes thats right .248 and it wasn't exactly like they were
killin it prior to that. Seattle is 2-8 last 10, they have lost a grip of games are a dogshit team who finds ways to lose games.
lost 4 in a row and the team is just a complete mess now. Oakland on the other hand have won 8 out of
their last 10 and 4 in a row. Two teams going completely different directions.
Oakland 17-8 vs Left handed SP this season.
Keep in mind that SEATTLE has one of the worst BPs in all of baseball and it's very likely that we will
see at least 3 innings of that horrible BP which is the main reason why they are 39-58 on the season.
SP is only a minor factor in handicapping baseball.
So we have the superior much HOTTER offense, superior BP, home field and last out of game if need be, also OAK going against a SP
that the A's have already seen 3 times this season and as recently as last week.....
Everything points to the A's having more success vs Marco in this game.
Line should be higher than -166, in all honestly don't you think the A's have more than a 62.4% chance of winning
this game? My model and projections have the A's winning this game at a 70% clip.
In all honestly the line should be -200, only reason it's not is because Marco has good history vs A's
but that is such a small sample size and doesn't count many variables. It's a flawed way of looking
at things.
OAKLAND A's -166 is gold, win or lose this is the type of bet you go big on and enjoy. Marco is NOT pitching the entire game. SEATTLE
will have to give the ball to their trash bullpen and that is when OAK will start raking if they haven't raked yet.
