Cleveland Browns - Questions, Questions, Questions

The "hype train" is going strong for the Browns before the season starts. Maybe,
just maybe, to much hype for a wagering man. For example: Are the Browns
actually good? Can new coach Freddie Kitchens actually coach? Can Kitchens
control all the personalities on the team. Will so many strong egos cause the team
to implode? Can QB Baker Mayfield avoid the sophomore jinx? Will the Browns'
"hype train" go straight off a cliff? Maybe some questions to answer before going
full bore on the Browns. With public sentiment running so high on Cleveland this
year, you can bet there will be some inflated lines from the books. Caution might
be the real answer!

Huge fan of Baker Mayfield....so excited he got his chance last season and he did what I expected...balled out!!!! The kid is a gamer and has that leader mentality and feel he will have great NFL career! This season he comes in with a completely different scenario...he's the man and they've surrounded him with all sorts of talent to succeed. The expectations are HUGE! I know he has the ability to live up to the hype. Honestly I have no idea what to expect from this team. It's difficult to gauge with so many new faces right now not knowing if there's chemistry or not + new coach. I think they'll be fine it may take some weeks for them to gel, but they'll be right in the thick of things in the end. The days of the Browns being the laughing stock of the league are OVER with Mayfield at the helm! Time to pass that torch to someone else.....

The Browns trying to go the Dan Gilbert way. They will be worse than expected. It is a weak division though

Just found this tidbit...

The Browns will face four teams with rookie coaches this year, and
only four teams that made the playoffs in 2018.

not sure the coach is ready to handle all those egos. this team needs early success since they all seem to punch back to any criticism. when everything is going great this team feels like a great fit but in adversity i think there will be a lot of finger pointing. is kitchens the guy to get them focused. is mayfield mature enough and will obj not cause a fit when he faces criticism. they still dont have a kicker either.

Clevelands defense gave up a shit ton of yards last year and the only major stat that helped them is they created turnovers. like jacksonville a few years ago it was the key to the success they had. last year the turnovers went away for the jags and everything else fell apart for that team also. i dont think their defense has the same production as last year and i think they will suffer for it.

i think they are .500 at best with a tough start to the season in their first 8 games. i dont think the team stays together in the locker room easily when things get tough this year.
