And it has begun! Preseason anyway. With Vegas winning 6-2 yesterday.

It seems 11 games are on today. And books have betting lines up for at least 5 of them:

https://www.pinnacle.com/en/hockey/nhl-ot-included/matchups
https://www.sportsbookreview.com/betting-odds/nhl-hockey/

https://www.google.com/search?q=nhl...F-8#sie=lg;/g/11fkr57w6f;7;/m/05gwr;mt;fp;1;;

I see no line for the Habs vs Devils game, which i read will be televised on TSN. The Devils also play the Bruins, both games at 4 PM, so the Devils will have to be in two places at the same time lol.

Anyone up for some preseason wagering? Otherwise, if i am not mistaken, the regular season takes off on October 2.

I just found out today that the NHL preseason will have split squad games (kinda like MLB) so its gonna be hard to find lines for those games

Pinnacle finally got their NHL season team total points lines up today. Though, unlike with their NBA futures, i don't see anywhere on the site where any NHL futures odds can be seen, except when one is logged in.

By the closing Pinnacle lines at SBR the biggest dog yesterday was a 2-8 loser with Chicago +215 @ Boston. The biggest dog of the day record went to 5-7 L12 & 2-6 L8 & 2-2 L4. So far today it is the Sharks +111 at Sin City in the late game that qualifies as the largest dog of the day. SBR is saying that the Blues-Blue Jackets game is "postponed".

"In a statement, the Blue Jackets said the cancellation is due to "an issue with the Blues chartered aircraft that will prevent the team from traveling to Columbus." Today's preseason game is canceled due to a mechanical issue with St. Louis' aircraft."

Yesterday the dogs run had an end with the favs going 7-2 SU. The home teams also were 7-2. First period under 1.5's continued their hot run, going 7-2 after going 3-2, 5-2, 4-5 & 4-1-1 the previous 4 days. Those unders have generally been priced as underdogs.

By the closing Pinnacle lines at SBR the biggest dog yesterday was a 1-5 loser with the Sharks +152 @ Sin City. The biggest dog of the day record went to 5-8 L13 & 2-7 L9 & 2-3 L5. The preseason games between NHL clubs are now over & the regular season starts on Winsday, Oct.2. The biggest dog for that day is presently the Sens +238 @ the Laffs. (The Laffs recently lost both games of a home & home preseason series on consecutive days to this same Ottawa team.) BTW, none of the other 3 dogs in the other 3 games is anywhere near +238.

Yesterday the dogs bounced back by winning 2 of 3 games SU after a 2-7 Saturday. The away teams also were 2-1. First period under 1.5's cooled off a bit from their scorching hot run, going 1-2 after going 7-2, 3-2, 5-2, 4-5 & 4-1-1 (23-12) the previous 5 days. Those unders have generally been priced as underdogs.

See the "NHL playoff specials" prop odds listed by Betonline. Several of them are so off as to be almost ridiculous, e.g. TB to make the playoffs, yes, -450. Other books i've seen have the no at +625 & up. Play both sides and the -450 is a gift, free money, if the book ever pays up. Most of their "NHL playoff specials" prop odds are off the mark.
