Houston Astro's at St Louis: Houston-133....

Today's pitchers starts Wade Miley vs Dakota Hudson, both excellent pitchers in they're own right!

Wade Miley....8-4, 3.18 ERA, 100 SOMiley carried a shutout into the ninth inning of his previous start Tuesday against Oakland before getting a no-decision. In his last five starts, he's 2-0 with a 2.25 ERA and 0.88 WHIP. He's thrown at least 108 pitches in three of his last four starts.... Miley is 1-0 with a 2.70 ERA, a 0.80 WHIP, five walks and 14 strikeouts over 20 innings of work in his last three starts.

Dakota Hudson....10-4, 3.61 ERA, 81 SOHudson leads the team with 10 wins, and his most recent victory provided relief for the Cardinals' bullpen. He worked 6 1/3 innings after four of the prior six starters failed to complete five innings, leading to multiple transactions for fresh arms.... Hudson is 6-1 with a 2.31 ERA, a 1.357 WHIP, 31 walks and 44 strikeouts over 66.1 innings in 23 career appearances, nine starts, at Busch Stadium.

The Houston Astros are 8-2 in their last 10 overall and have the benefit of watching left-hander Wade Miley go to work. Miley is 2-0 with a 2.25 ERA (as mentioned) in his last five starts and Houston's is 14-7 this season when he has appeared..

That being said in which should be a pitchers duel, I will side with the Astro's to get the win today!

GL, the Assassin!
