BJ Penn was amazing back in the days. He was one of the first fighters to be champion in two different weight divisions. He was a master at Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He was arguably the number one pound for pound fighter in his prime.
Fast forward to now, he has lost 7 fights in a row (ufc record), he has been accused of threatening farmers and abusing his wife, he has been getting into fights with bouncers etc.

Another fighter who fell off badly was Anderson Silva. Longest reigning champion and now he is losing most of his fights and is being busted for PED's.

These fighters should have retired in their primes so their legacies would not have been so tarnished

That's true bro, but wasn't Connor the first one who held title in two different divisions?

Age catches up to you......it happens to everyone.

BJ loves the sport and it's what he loves to do. I'm not going to feel sad seeing a guy out there doing what he loves to do. BJ has done alot for the sport throughout the years. He is a legend

Everytime BJ fights I know the result before the fight even happens. Its awful that he keeps fighting.. he even said in a interview he sees himself winning a belt in a few years. That's not a good sign. His team needs to have a serious talk with him, honestly.
