Well, I think the big issue is actually that social media shows an idealized version of other peoples lives. If you've got some issues and everything else looks perfect, that can be tough. Many studies have shown this is a big reason why depression is on the rise amongst Gen-Z'ers.

I think even the people that say they have no friends probably do have "friends" but it is more acquaintances.

Not many people have someone like AC Cowlings willing to drive down the LA freeway after you made the biggest mistake of your life. Those type of bonds are what keep people from detaching from society.

this very subject. He said he would like to think we were friends and I said an acquaintance
when he found out you were in jail would tell your wife so she could bail you out but a

the activity of mixing socially with others is a art form that is being lost , the new generations is losing these skill and they don't care, They don't know how to greet correctly , they don't know how to tranistion a conversation, They don;t practice conversation, its a skill and should be practice infront of mirror an hour a day, steal of the people chat "so and so was just s sating ", make culture reference , chat need be a pre written script with with a few adlibs.
