I was playing horses thru a US site and lost track of time so with 13 minutes before the first pitch I’m scrambling to fund Bookmaker. I use bitcoin 90% of the time. But I had no bitcoin available and it takes about 15+ minutes for
me to get bitcoin and then get it to the offshore who has to put in the account. Time was not on my side. So I have a CC on file at Bookmaker that I decided to use. Now I’m less than 10 minutes from the start of the game. I deposit $500 online and it gets rejected. WTF?
So their site gives me a message wait 5 minutes before another attempt. Then I start getting texts and emails from credit card saying do I authorize a $9700 transaction from a foreign processor. I reply no. I call book maker and tell them and they confirm that is definitely their processor they use but they only show me attempting a $500. I say I have the emails and text to prove otherwise. At this point the Braves game has started. And I’m so pissed because I was gonna bet ATL.
The dodgers kill the braves and I save $500.
