Remember, tariffs are all bad

SYDNEY—An Australian steelmaker said it will spend roughly US $700 million to expand its U.S. business, joining American rivals that have outlined plans to add capacity locally in the wake of President Trump’s import tariffs.

“We continue to be attracted to the U.S. as a place to build our business,” said BlueScope Chief Executive Mark Vassella.

The trade wars are killing us

The world hates us

It's not a question of will the stock crash, the question is how bad and for how long

We're heading towards a serious recession

Listening to our criminal corrupt colluding treasonous always lying democratic media is beyond nauseating, they truly are the scum of this earth

I can't respect a demographic less

They're dead to me

Our steel industry is DOMINATED by foreign interests.

The USA is being taken over economically one day at a time, foreign companies are allowed to buy our major companies, major corporations, WTF?

AND we do not make very much of anything, anymore, do we? Manufacturing jobs at low pay in the USA are a thing of the past, meanwhile we give welfare, food stamps and Sec 8 housing to millions to NOT WORK; so the manufacturing jobs are overseas. Brilliant.

We need to take a strong position with tariffs / trade wars before it is too late, sure there are repercussions, but if we let the whole planet take advantage of us forever we are going down.

Our economy on the surface looks good right now using the obsolete metrics, and the stock market looks good on the surface but IMO, nope, we are not doing well at all.
