as you can see nobody took to the thread and obviously no one was willing to pay 20.00 a month for it
what was i thinking??? we live in an era where it is the " I CAN DO IT MYSELF PHASE THE INFORMATION IS ALL OVER THE PLACE SO WHY DO I NEED YOU"
it is called emotional intelligence they have none of it , in their minds the phrase makes sense but then you put it to use in real life and cappoooots there goes the theory.
also the same people who don't want to spend 20.00 a month will gamble mininum 500.00 a month but as long as it was their way they justify it .
I believe because i am new to this stuff i went about it all wrong , well you live and learn. this forum was to be about sharing picks not matter what the cost .(even if it means losing)
and for me it was suppose to be about helping the struggling player who truly wanted to learn.(producing a small profit) and giving them the option to go with the prime stuff.
and yes i should have built a website got clever and all the rest and maybe this wouldn't have occurred but i chose this route to see if there was still heart left in the game
See I face a dilemma that most players out there don't encounter
and that is how do you help as many people as possbile and not lose your edge??? (if what i am saying is actually true)
that is why i don't post my prime selections
eg
i have one bet at prarie meadows and i post it here on the forum , now assuming everyone has figured out that i do hold a significant edge (which is yet to be proven) but lets say its true for the moment , the wolves come in they all put 20.00 to win and you get 2000 views a day well u do the math . even if 200 players bet that will be 4000.00 extra on the horse and your edge is gone . horse goes from 16-1 to 4-1 bye bye edge .
Most people on here have shown their true colors they come in like hungry wolves take from all the posters( who put in hard time to come up with selections) and try to come up with a solution themselves to find an edge.( good luck to you it will never happen) you may win on given days but you will lose long run

so how does one go about it to at least start , by telling the truth so here goes nothing
take it from it what you will but i know it to be true because i have dedicated my life to it
so how does one start to find the winnings well here goes nothing ala jerry maguire
1 the game is not linear you cant win from numbers alone and patterns alone
2 you have take in what you have learned from the so called professionals and build your own strategy that applies only to you
3 there is no real value as it already has been incorporated by the overall mass value so the term " i have to find value" is false
( i know i will be getting alot of heat for this one )
4 all percentage values from all publications are misleading so if baffert is winning 44 percent with firsters for example and you find an 9-1 live shot is he a play ??
ablsolutley not because the 44 percent is slanted towards all his plays but he only wins 7 percent of his plays at 6-1 and above
5 we put to much emphasis on the trainer pace class speed
6 the reversal effect is the number one reason why everyone loses and why you will shake your head a thousand times over saying " how the fuck did that happen"
7 first instinct is a better handicapping requirement than over stimulation
8 all information from all publications are geared towards a bias find the bias and you will get the cookies
anyway i hope we all could pull are heads together and truly start coming up with ways to profit have fun and fundementally help each other
