Happy to see another season of college football!! First I want to wish everyone the best of luck this year and lets all have a great season as we're all helping each other to beat "the man"!!

First play of season.

Week 0- Canes vs gators

This game screams low scoring to me. Both teams have very good defenses and not the strongest of offenses. Miami has a 1st year starting at qb as well as a new coach (who was d-coordinator last season) so they will be defensive minded. There are 2 reasons why I dont want to play the under:

1) This game could remind me of Miami/LSU or Mia/Wisc of last year where the canes played bigger/physical teams and just got stomped
2) The weather- This game is going to be humid as hell on saturday in Orlando. It may even rain. Both teams have speed burners on offense and could easily break one in the 2nd half vs tired players. Wouldnt be surprised to see a defensive or special teams TD in the 2nd half.

My play: UNDER 23.5 1ST HALF.

I think both teams start slow out of the gate and try to feel each other out. Miami is going to try to play "close to the vest" w/ the new qb and the gators wont be pulling out anything crazy in the 1st half of this game. Look for a very boring very sloppy 1st half and watch the clock go tick tick tick.

Good luck this week!!

1-0 for season

Week 1

Game 1

I like Georgia - 22 over Vandy

Georgia's last 2 games:

The blown lead vs Alabama in the SEC championship game where they fake a punt on 4th and 14.

Their bowl game vs Texas in which they didnt give 2 bleeps.

Georgia is coming off a dissapointing bowl loss starts on the road in an SEC showdown vs an inferior opponent in this prime time matchup. This year, there is no week 2 matchup vs south carolina as they have an FCS school on deck. I'll take the stud 3rd year qb and his cast of characters to cover easily on the road (they'll have the home field advantage with their fans)

Pick 2

Nebraska - 35.5

Lets look at the 2017 Nebraska team for a second. Scott Frost takes over this team and installs a new offense but yet he doesnt have the horses for this offense just yet. He recruits a STUD freshman qb in Adrian Martinez. Week 1, they were double digit favorites and the game was cancelled due to lightning. Over the next few years, Nebraska was taken to the wood shed but then they finished up strong.

This is year 2 of Scott Frost. He has more of "his players" and he's looking to start off strong. Nebraska will score on its opening drive, go for 2, and convert the 2 and will take an early 8-0 lead. Frost wants to get the big red faithful fired up for this season so Nebraska is gonna score, score, and score some more as they easily win by 40 and the fans will starting talking about how they will win the B1G and make the 4 team playoff.

Look at it this way, with all the Hype that big red is gettin, winning 31-13 just doesnt sound like fun, doesnt it?

When Frost coached UCF in his 2nd year, they opened up against FAU and won 61-17. I see the same kind of game this week for Big Red
